From 14 to 30 October in the year 2011 was held in Mexico in Guadalajara Pan American Games sports with 36 testing the strength, skill, agility and discipline than 6,000 athletes. 42 participating countries in all. Brazil was well represented by our athletes ranking third (first and second U.S. Cuba) with a balance of medals 48 gold medals, 35 silver medals and 58 bronze medals, made its best participation in the Pan American Games, set records for distance swimming records and records of athletics. But all participants are heroes and champions, because the important thing was to compete for our country. The next event will be held in London 2012
